VOICE OF NIGERIA is the sole external radio broadcasting station arm of the Federal Government of Nigeria with its HQ in Abuja and key operational stations in Ikoyi and Ikorodu, Lagos, in effort to keep abreast with the ever emergent development in the digital broadcasting requires
 suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies in the information Technology Department of the corporation.




Position 1: Assistant Director, Information Technology - G/L.15

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Report to the Director of Information Technology.

 Supervise subordinate staff

 Configure site-to-site, VPN, active directory, and wireless architecture

 Must have excellent knowledge of Cisco Routers, and configuration of network management switches

 Must have experience in windows 2003 and 2008 server Active Directories (LAN & WAN Architecture)

 Must have experience in VOIP phones



QUALIFICATION

 B.sc/B-Tech in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 15 years cognate experience or M.sc in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 15 years cognate experience, preferably from Telecom Industries

 Certificate in CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE and UNIX/LINUX will be an added advantage





Position 2: Chief Network Administrator – G/L 14


JOB DESCRIPTION

 Reports to the Assistant Director of Information Technology

 Supervises subordinate staff, manage system network, configure Router, NAT and VOIP.

 Check Network connections from Remote locations and on site



QUALIFICATION

 Bsc/B.Tech Tech in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 14 years cognate experience or M.sc in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 12 years cognate experience

 Certificate in CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE and UNIX/LINUX will be an added advantage





Position 3: Assistant Chief Network Administrator – G/L 13

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Reports to the Chief Network Administrator

 Supervises subordinate staff

 Configure digital audio systems, e.g. Dialet 5.9, Adobe, audition sound forge, and audio vault as well as conversion to audio sound to MP3



QUALIFICATION

 Bsc/B.Tech Tech in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 14 years cognate experience or M.sc in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 10 years cognate experience

 Certificate in CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE and UNIX/LINUX will be an added advantage





Position 4: Web Master – G/L 13

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Reports to the Chief Network Administrator

 Supervises subordinate staff

 Manages Web servers/directories, and sub-directories

 Creates/manages daily audio-on-demand (PHP and CSS) directories as well as trains users to upload, import and edit web contents



QUALIFICATION

 B.sc in Computer Science/Engineering
